right of participation

Right of Participation and Rules of the Game:

All organizations which belong to the Football Association of their country are entitled to take part in the Upper Austria Cup provided that these countries are attached to the FIFA.
The tournament starts with group matches. Groups are divided into 4 - 5 teams and will meet in a round robin series (all teams play one another). The first two or three teams advance to the next stage and will play in the finals. Teams that have already been eliminated have the possibility to play each other in some interesting friendly matches.
The Upper Austria Cup is played in accordance to the rules and regulations of the FIFA and those of the Austrian Football Association. The team manager has to make sure that the players are insured during the matches and the leisure time and he or she is also responsible for them.
All teams should arrive on Sunday July 10th. Games start on Monday July 11th.

Playing Periods:

Group matches of classes A, B, C, D, E, F and the class J: - 2 x 25 min.
Group matches of classes G, H, I: - 2 x 20 min.
Finals of classes A, B, C, D, E,F and the class J: - 2 x 30 minutes
Finals of classes G, H, I: - 2 x 25 min.

Number of participating teams:

There is no limit on participating teams at the Upper Austria Cup.

Playing fields:

All playing fields are grass.
